Mini Q.P Ceramic Paradigm Shift

Shigeki Hayashi was born in the Mino area in Gifu Prefecture, he worries about the decline of the ceramics industry of his region. He started this project hoping to have a certain effect on the area by transmitting the value of new art to the world, by showing new appeal and possibilities in the expression of ceramics.
“Mini Q.P” are small- sized versions of “Q.P’ which were produced in 2006 and are multiple works based on the premise of mass- production. They will be produced with the help of young artists in Mino, and presented and sell with the support of Takashimaya (department store) .
