Mut design “emotional design studio” presented its new work during the design week in Milan. Between their projects, I’d like to mention Roots, a modular structure, produced in wood and porcelain, that allows the composition of a biombo like screen or just a mini vertical garden.
Because of the oddity of the creations by Gaetano Pesce and Fabio Novembre, Meritalia is not one of the stands I’m often visiting, but because of a “friendly” oddity this time I did enter and to my surprise, there was this fantastic stand wall, full of animals with big white eyes, waiting to be discovered.
This project is obviously one of the winners in our Bucolic Empowerment category, these simple and beautiful plant pot/tiles by Maruja Fuentes not only allow you to bring nature into your home, they are also made of recycled materials, and can be placed in different configurations according to your vertical garden design.
This “bambi” chair, designed by Tatsuo Yamamoto, clearly is an example of the aesthetics research in our “Bucolic Empowerment” category. Without doubt Nendo‘s low armchair, designed for Cappellini, is one of the best examples, belonging to our “Bucolic Empowerment” category. The choice of the very natural materials: wool or leather for the seat and solid ash wood for the frame; and needless to mention the ”fauna call” evidentiated on the back frame.
