As every year (since 2010) Wallpaper* presented their exhibition “Handmade” during the design week in Milan. Introducing the best craftsmen to the best designers/artists, the result couldn’t be more exquisite.
Tomás Alonso -very known for his work with spanish shoe maker Camper- designed Pétanque, a copper vodka set for Absolut with Lobmeyr, the Viennese producer of crystal and lighting. The project highlights the importance of copper not just a purifying agent, but because of its conductive properties, the accessories (ice-like spheres, bases, bottle) previously cooled down, can keep the vodka cooler for longer preventing it from being watered down by normal ice cubes.
8UNG! are these delicate fused, mold-formed glass bowls, the result of the many years of experience of interior designer Klaar Prims.
